Welcome to Our Lady of Pompeii Church, a diverse parish of the Archdiocese of New York, located between Carmine and Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village. As a faith community, we commit ourselves to fulfilling our Baptismal calling through worship (conversion through prayer and the Sacraments), evangelization (proclamation of Jesus Christ in Word and in Action), education (increased catechetical formation), service (promotion of social justice and increased involvement of those in need), stewardship (sharing of time, talent and treasure based on mission priorities and parish ministries), and youth ministry (promotion of spiritual and social avenues for growth of the parish youth group).
As you navigate through our website, we hope you will become more familiar with what we can afford to offer as we endeavour to foster unity in diversity. We would like to be your center of worship and we hope you will find it helpful and enriching in your journey of faith.
We encourage new parishioners to introduce yourselves to the priests and staff so that we can meet and welcome you. Once you register as a member of our Parish, you will be acquainted with other activities and ministries that give life to our community.
Please email us or feel free to contact us if you want to learn more about our church. We hope that our website provides you with some information you may need and discover the wealth of relationship in the parish and beyond.
Come and see. Join us in our celebrations.
